Jackson Kruger is an Indiana-based composer, bassist, and producer specializing in music for film, games, and visual media. He began playing bass at the age of eight and quickly became immersed in collaborative performance, original composition, and recording from a young age.

At sixteen, Kruger released his first soundtrack on Spotify for a video game in development, followed by his first full-length EP under the name Sole Identity at seventeen. Both projects were fully written, recorded, and mixed independently using only a MacBook and GarageBand.

He is currently attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he is studying Film and Game Scoring. His composing work includes original music for a UK-based short film, soon to be released. He has extensive work in composing for video games and middleware implementation, recently starting work on an Australian-based project, to be released on Steam in the coming years.

In addition to his compositional work, Kruger co-founded the band Geneva in 2023, co-writing and recording original music and touring in 2024. The band’s single “Conscious” has surpassed 55,000 streams. He also releases music under the artist name The Kruug, recently collaborating with Melanie Faye and Taye Dever on “Clutch,” which reached over 10,000 streams in its first month.
